NOT EXACTLY A RENAISSANCE MAN

Proteus, among other things, is often called the old man of the sea. I'm old and I live by the sea, but the adjective that comes from the name, protean, is more apt. My interests are varied and I can opine with a certain amount of authority on music, cuisine, wine, history, literature, sports, politics, and anything to do with the arts. My career has been in education, the theater as an actor and director, and late in life an author. My poetry had been published, some of my plays performed, and at present, I have three novels in print that I hope will soon be read by a wide audience. Life is great when you fill it with great books, great music, travel, fine wine, and great food, as long as you attack each with complete enthusiasm.
